“The satisfaction for this job used to sparkle in his eyes every time he picked a bunch of grapes and showed its beauty to people. In this way, my father Giuseppe transferred to us his love for this profession and for nature.”
Sauro Paolucci
This is the story of a family realising a dream made of sacrifices and professionalism. Nowadays, the Paolucci couple is assisted by their son Mirco, daughter Giusi and oenologist Sergio Paolucci.
The company is located in Montecarotto, Province of Ancona in the Marche region.
At 388 meters above sea level, on the hillside between the Esino and Misa vallies, surrounded by the panoramic views of the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea.
The Sabbionare district, where the company is located, owes its name to the wide presence of sand in the soil. The particular composition and exposure of the land makes the vineyards cultivatable. We are, in fact, in the heart of the Castelli area of Jesi, the place for the finest Verdicchio: the traditional grape forms a strong link with the region and is found to be the an expression in this region “ Verdicchio”.
The Castles of Jesi are also an artistic and cultural center that brings together several medieval towns, evoked through the ancient fortresses, these cities have kept out the contamination of successive ages. All this is framed by the suggestive hilly landscape that, thanks to the geometrical forms of our cultivated fields, gives a beautiful mosaic effect that can be admired from the different panoramic points in this area.
